I am a British Artist living in Ieper, My Gt Grandfather Maurice Augustus Staunton served in the Lancashire Fusiliers during WW1, My Gt uncle Patrick Thomas Staunton served in the 1st Bn Welsh Regiment and was killed in action at a place called the 'Bluff' on the 20th February 1915 and is commemorated on the Menin Gate, my Studio overlooks the panel in which his name is listed.
