I have personally been on the Leger walking tour (Salient) and found it a fantastic tour, with the very skilled tour guides in Peter Williams and Iain McHenry, also includes a lunch stop at Varlet Farm which was fought over by the RND. My highlights were the little cemeteries in Plug Street Wood, most movingly when Peter started reading extracts from Vera Britain's 'Testament of Youth' describing the return of Roland Leighton's items of clothing which were sent to his mother covered in the debris of death, am extremely emotional account.
During my travels over my first 1 year & 6 months of living in Ieper I have met nearly all the Leger tour guides, the feedback from all the tourists that I have spoken to was always positive with high regard for each tour guides knowledge on their subject.

Your guide is Sabine, a young Belgian Lady with a unique knowledge of the battlefields around Ieper, she speaks fluent English and can take you on a tailor made tour.
All the sites can be covered:
Tyne Cot, Menin Gate, Lille Gate, Langemark German Cemetery, The Brooding Soldier Memorial at St Julien, Messines Ridge & Crater's, Essex Farm Cemetery & Dressing Station ( Scene of 'In Flanders Fields' composition by John McCrae), Plugstreet Memorial ( Scene of the Christmas Truce ), Polygon Wood.
Also behind the frontine at Poperinghe you can see Talbot House, the execution post and condemned man's cell & the 17 British soldiers buried nearby who were executed in 'Pops' during the war.
Sabine can also cater for any personal visitors requests to see more obscure cemeteries within the Salient, the tour can also be requested in Dutch
